I think you are correct! This site was full of the screw on metal and white glass mason jar lids that sound real nice. Never found the clear glass style. I wonder if it is older or newer than the screw on types.

I think you are correct! This site was full of the screw on metal and white glass mason jar lids that sound real nice. Never found the clear glass style. I wonder if it is older or newer than the screw on types.

i think they were for the ones with wire going over that style of lid

Look around for any green insulators, they might be older have three or four of them from old old poles by railroad tracks in upper Michigan. Cool color blue one nice to have for history sake~~ good paper weight. HH
