Today's hunt -- IHP, spoon, and a ???

Went out for a 2 hour hunt today. Among a pile of wheaties (probably 20 at least on two separate occasions), I scored a 1905 IHP, a spoon, and some sort of metal clip that had Pat. July 6 1875 stamped on it.
Anyone have any clue on what it could be??
