It's true what they say, never hunted out! I played hooky from work today and hit a permission I did in the early spring. The first time I went there I cherry-picked 6 silver coins and a whole bunch of Indians and wheats. Today when I went back I slowly gridded the same area digging any signal I could get to repeat. Got 12 wheats, 2 V nickels, 2 buffalos, 4 Indians, and a no date seated quarter!

That’s a great haul of old coins even without the Seated Quarter. You mentioned bleach soaking the quarter to get details out. Do you have before and after photos, I have not heard of this procedure before, congrats!

Thank you very much! I read about this once after cleaning a badly pitted Barber quarter I didn't like how shiny it was so I wanted to make it look somewhat original again . here is the before and after picture 20181017_154027.jpg

Now we're metal detecting. Congrats. Very nice.

Very nice... A lot of coins to be had when you think you had them all. Congrats on the seated quarter. SD
thank you! It's hard to believe I missed all this stuff the first time but I guess when you slow down that's what happens lol

Congrats on the sweeet Seated. Nice job bringing out the detail as well. I too had never heard of the bleach treatment.
