Epic week would be an understatement! Bucket listers, Silver, gold and relics galore!! So after working two 36 hour shifts on rescue I decided to head out the mornings after I got off and just wing it, well my instinct brought me to two separate colonial era village spots one with a pump house and 4 foundations and another with 5 foundations, I’ve hit these spots multiple times with my at pro, not only myself but with others before, but the nox literally woke these places up like it was virgin land and I cleaned up! Found my first silver match case, and RARE pocket lighter, notes as the first “pocket lighter” ever patented. Relics galore and tons of scrap to add to the buckets. Key finds for the 2 days: (Picture Heavy)
-Dateless Large Cent
-1827 Large Cent
-1864 2 cent piece
-6 Wheat Pennies including 1919
-1900 Barber Dime
-5 IHP’s
-Gold Plated Signet Ring(Bucket lister and old!)
-Decorative Brooch type item
-1800s Magic” pocket lamp
-Silver Match Case(Bucket lister)
-Silver thimble
-2 Small Shoe type buckles
-Watch fob

It was a long week but patience and persistence paid off, the equinox 800 forces you to dig, if the tones are solid and repeating it makes you dig it.

The nox can certainly sniff those out,but the AT-PRO should have been able to beep on them.

Don’t get me wrong Thrifty I still swing my pro she’s a great machine but the nox has excelled in the trash infested areas where these structures were raised, the equinox just goes right through this iron and picks out the good stuff, and trust me I’ve been digging quite a bit of trash to find the goodies but the trash is still high end scrap and the pile grows as does the money for the years end totals to pay off the machine upgrade.

Thanks a lot pals! I think this site is exhausted for now, the underbrush is covering a very large area of what would be great swinging space but it’s just impossible to swing through it, hoping the winter beats some of it down but I’m quite happy with the keepers I rescued out of there before this snow. There’s a whole other area of this “village” just across he road I’m probably going to work on that next week, it’s much clearer and much more space to swing.
