Hunted a park here in Western NY for the 2ND time and found silver both times. today I found a
1923 merc dime
1932 Canadian penny
2- unknown date wheat's
2- 1919 wheat's
1-1946 wheat
all pretty worn out.also found 1 clad penny and 2 clad nickels, I seem to find more old coins at this park and I think I like it !!!

I also have a question about this 1988 dime notice the rim is not centered as if it was stamped incorrectly (is it worth keeping?) thanks poppa19

I've seen a number of dimes like that before. I dont think it has any value. You might want to post it on the coins part of the forum and get a better opinion. I'm not an expert. Congrats on the merc. Wilver always makes my day.

Value of that dime is not much more than a dime to most collectors. Some however may give you a very little amount of money for it. Really depends on the collector. I would say no more than 15-20 cents. The more off center the more money its worth.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Keep whacking away at it.........there's gotta be more. That's how those parks start out.........1 silver the first two the next and it'll last. That canadian penny looks a bit like one of our wheats........that is cool. Keep us posted, and congrats.
