Did a little scouting today and checked out an area I’ve been wanting to detect for a couple years. Glad I finally did. Getting dark when I got into an area where I found this. Can’t wait to get back out there.

Nice Finds! The item to the left looks like its a buckle for a rifle sling or a keeper for a belt.

very exciting finds for you and rightly so. digging history like this kind is a dim reflection of what happened back then. bits and pieces of that represented great loss of life for both sides. History that shouldn't be forgotten and isn't when brought back to light like this. hope you find even more and better finds as well. pretty awesome

Not a dumb question at all, it’s a bayonet scabbard tip bologna321, but it’s missing a small piece at the very tip.

By the way, all of this was found in about a ten by ten foot area.
