First silver coin of 2019 - SLQ

    Hello,

I got off work early, and did some door knocking in a old part of town.

There is a old house Iíve driven by literally 1000s of times. The home is nearby my parents house, and is a turn of century farm style property.

I have a huge dent in my car, so I parked w the dent facing the road, And trudged up to the door. A nice woman answered, still In her jammies, and she said yes!

First signal was an easy one. A slq about 5 inches down! All I came up w was a few more wheaties and a childís junk ring.

Awesome, it has a date and everything!

My first silver of 2019 was a Barber Quarter. Gonna be a good year, I think.

It’s your standard WA state sales tax token. They ring up like a dime...

That’s a nice silver. Perhaps if you would have shown the dent in your car, she would have felt sorry for you and let you hunt the back yard as well.

An SLQ is a really nice find. They don't show up often in my pouch, less than one per year.

    Well done sir.

SLQ's are not easy to find,, one with a date is even harder to find.
    Congratulations
