Big Ben, Indian Men and Some Mercs!

    Hey folks,

Had whatís likely to be one of my best days of the year today. I returned to my 1886 permission in search of a seated coin. Still no luck on that front but it was another great day.

Spent about 4 hours hitting the dirt. Managed some great stuff.

    Hereís the tally:
    -63-D Franklin
    -2 Mercs (39-S and 44-S)
    -2 Indians (98, 05)
    -4 Wheats

Also found my first thimble, a pocket watch and some other goodies.

Nice finds! I guess I got lucky finding two Franklins only 300 yards apart last fall, I would trade either of them for a Walker or a Barber tho!

Great coins Wash. After 30 years of detecting, and finding 28 Half Dollars, I still do not have a Franklin. One day, I will walk over one !

Thank you. Keep after it! Not sure why but I've found more Franklins than any other silver half. You'll get yours!
