Hey folks,

Had what’s likely to be one of my best days of the year today. I returned to my 1886 permission in search of a seated coin. Still no luck on that front but it was another great day.

Spent about 4 hours hitting the dirt. Managed some great stuff.

Here’s the tally:
-63-D Franklin
-2 Mercs (39-S and 44-S)
-2 Indians (98, 05)
-4 Wheats

Also found my first thimble, a pocket watch and some other goodies.

Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Nice finds! I guess I got lucky finding two Franklins only 300 yards apart last fall, I would trade either of them for a Walker or a Barber tho!:tongue3:

Great coins Wash. After 30 years of detecting, and finding 28 Half Dollars, I still do not have a Franklin. One day, I will walk over one !

Thank you. Keep after it! Not sure why but I've found more Franklins than any other silver half. You'll get yours!

Congrats on the great silver Wash, looks like another great year in the making for you. It’s amazing how rare the Franklin half’s seem but I found the same year and mint mark like yours :dontknow: What I really wish to find this year is barber half or Morgan dollar, they don’t even need to be key dates :hello:

I’m not sure what that little thing is. I busted it open and that had a spring inside 🤷🏼*♂️
