One bullet is still a great hunt to me. Is that a Gardner?

relic nut maybe you can help me. I’ve found over 40 3 ringers at this spot it was obviously a camp site because everyone of them where dropped. .64’s and 58’s all hollow in the base some with 5 lines some without. Well at the same spot I get this one and was disappointed and surprised it wasn’t a dropped then just realized it’s not a three ringer and has a flat bottom and it’s flat on one side. What do you think? It doesn’t look like any of the other ones at all IMG_0012.jpg IMG_0012.jpg IMG_0012.jpg II am just so use to getting dropped three ringers I remember thinking this one was ugly.

I don't think it's a Gardner. They didn't have a flat bottom. Perhaps it's a Sharp's. Google CW bullets and compare it to similar ones. Size and weight will also help.

Maybe it's a Spencer carbine.
Here is a picture of a Spencer and a Sharp's. 0_sharps-1.JPG

Very cool find. We don’t have to many of those in my parts. Can’t wait till I finally find one.
