I was out yesterday for a good hunt. I found 2 silver coins, 1942 quarter and 1947 dime, an Arizona sales tax token from the 1930's, A car wash token and a penny that was run through a machine and has the Lords prayer on it, 7 Wheat pennies from 1920 to the 50's, 53 newer coins, a silver plated ring, an old civil war era bullet .44 cal. Colt Army for a percussion revolver I believe, and an Arizona vehicle registration plate for 1914 sort of before and after cleaning. This round plate was attached to the dash and the owner was to make his own license plate to be attached to the front of the car with the number on the registration plate. This was only done for 3 years, 1912, 1913, and 1914. After that the state issued a license plate for the front of the car. I also threw in a picture of the trash that was dug to show that there is also a lot of junk dug and disposed of. Any help on the bullet would be appreciated. I did some online searching and the closest that I could find was 44 cal. Colt Army. I don't have a micrometer here, but the diameter is about 7/16 inches. Don't know why it was found in Phoenix, Az. It was a really good day. Thanks for looking and stay warm out there to all my North
ern friends.
