Jeff I found a bottle like the milk glass one when I was a kid in a bottle dump in the 70's. It looked just like yours except it was a pinkish color on the bottom part and white where the lid would have screwed on. I figured as well that it was some sort of face cream bottom.

Hey Tex ! Long Time.... I was just sitting around Contemplating Detecting..

My guess in 2 Weeks I'll either be ready to start Detecting,
Or shoveling Snow.

The Triangle up here where my nephew got the reale & I got the Colonials
is looking Real inviting for Some Sunday :coffee2: hint, hint

Any kid who grew up in the 50's or 60's has to remember "Old Spice"
Congrats on getting out.

Remember!?!?

I still use that!!! It's a memory thing for me though. You see, I was smelling it for almost a century! It was my dearly departed father's favorite for most of his 90 plus years.

Thanks for the memory Jeff!

Ya know? I'd just love to share a "triangle" with ya! But, alas...not only am I getting old...so is my car. I'm getting close to where you were a short time ago with your old car. I can't trust it much anymore.

Ah well...... :dontknow::BangHead:

it just has to be a " find:" from the day you posted it or at least
close to the day you found it.

Not a Gift, Purchase in a Coin Store or detector Shop or other place where you
knew in advance what they sell, and not just an interesting Story.

Ah well...... :dontknow::BangHead:

:( yea Trust in our cars at This age is extremely Important.
as Always, if you do find a way to head up this direction let me know.
Hopefully We can set it up where there are no Problems with a Meet.
a Word of Warning on the Triangle.

I Remember at least 7 of us hunting it over the Years.

I only remember My Nephew & I having Good days there.
My Nephew one (the Spanish Real)
& Me Large Cents, Colonial Cents, Indians, relics and 1900's Silver .
but I Live a half a Block away :coffee2:

most have walked away skunked.
and probably swearing to themselves
colorful things about me . :laughing9:

but it is along an old colonial site,, by the first Tavern
in the area,, and along the path from Philadelphia to Fort Shamokin
pre Indian wars Fur Traders, Indian wars [1750's],
forward through Baltimore Wars [1812] Draft Dodger Hideout,
through Molly Maguires [1870's], and Base Ball first half of 20th century.
and of course Play Ground for playing "Smear the Queer" etc. My early era.
and 21st Century, Labor Day/Memorial day people have set up to yard sale,
Mainly non Residents. Park Unload and sell for a day.

& I seem to remember at a very Early age a Tiny Carnival setting up.
The only thing Stuck in my mind from it was a Ferris Wheel.
but the rest is foggy like it may have even been a 5 year old child's dream.

in other words the Triangle has potential with a little patience and allot of luck.
