Been finding some real nice things on this ground. If anyone has any idea on dating this would be great. I have always wanted to find a thimble. Scratch that off my bucket list. My husband bought me a deus and it has been amazing. I never thought I would find these things. Buttons are real amazing. Thanks for looking.

Nice group of relics. The shoe buckle, spoon bowls and buttons all date to the last quarter of the 18th century.

Great colonial relics! I would agree with Steve in PA that the shoe buckle frame is from the last quarter of the 18th century, although with so much curvature, I would say 1785-1800 for date range. One of the nicest frames I've seen!

Nice hunt Monet. The buckle is fantastic, great detail with an interesting design. I am also partial to finding buttons, the pop up in places you would never expect to find them. You are also located in the part of the country where some of the button and buckle finds can be worth some serious money if they are the right ones from the Revolutionary War period. Good luck with your hunts. Walt
