Hey folks,

I had an early 1900s teardown I heard about going on about 10 minutes away and decided to go check it out. Unfortunately, I got there too late. The old building is gone and the grounds are completely dug up and buried in construction equipment.

I turned to plan B which is a spot near an old rail car station that I’ve had success near in the past and that was much more fruitful.

Even though I was dreaming of Barbers this morning, I’m plenty happy to come away with a Rosie and a Merc.

Here is today’s tally:
-1 Merc (39-S)
-1 Rosie (48-S)
-4 Wheats

I also found some odds and ends. I found a lego figurine (boy have those changed in the last 20 years), a Japanese 10 yen coin, and a “hug your cat” pin. Strange finds but fun nonetheless.

I’m heading out of town for a wedding so no other detecting for me this weekend. Good luck out there folks!

Lol. I don't think I will ever be able to satisfy you! Maybe if I find an 1877 trade dollar you will consider me my brother's equal?

Plan B would work for me, nice silvers & wheats, congrats, as far as the others, I would carry the figurine in my pocket & wear the pin on the next hunt just for luck, have a fun weekend
