    Question Flat one piece button

I have some decent pics of a button I found today. Hoping someone recognizes the backmark.

Nice button. Sorry I can't help with the ID. Still, finding a button like that is a good sign you are in a promising spot. Give it a good look, and I hope you can find some other interesting saves.

Perhaps "PLATED." Looks mid-1800s made in England.

Thanks guys! Sorry hadn't checked back in a bit. I found that in my back yard, which is curious, as my house was built 2006. Of course the land was here, and there is history all around MA.

I also found an 1884 IHP and another button, this one with more on it. I can read Rich at the top and Orange at the bottom. There is also some writing in the center which almost looks like Birth. There is also design around it thats hard to see.

The second pic helps, still unclear but I think the interior writing says TREBLE GILT. That is common terminology associated with RICH ORANGE
