    Scraped Up Some Silver

It was the first cool weekend of the season. I got out to the site of a long demolished neighborhood. They are redeveloping part of the site.

They scraped the top layer off of a large spot. Of course I thought that they had scraped all the bottle caps off, and left the old deeper coins.

I dug a bunch of modern coins, and there was a good amount of trash, despite the scraping.

Wow, it looks so different! But, to your point, with the whole top layer of wine caps, bottle caps and screen door pieces gone it's a whole new spot. For now...

Hey! That hunt looks like one of Jamflickers hunts from across the street! Marbles galore! In my entire 9 year hunting foray I have found exactly 3 marbles, and two of THOSE fell out my damn head!
A nice assortment Tom, when I see construction tear outs my mind starts whirling....but I haven’t come up with much hunting them. Certainly not THAT much anyway...
