Hit a cellar earlier in the day that I had been to once before. I nabbed a few button on top of the 10 i had found at this site. No coins yet.

I noticed the small field next to my residence was hayed and it is public town property. This is where i learned to detect back in 2016 and provided me with many many good finds. Today was no exception. I got a screaming 23/24 on my equinox 600 and found this Nova a couple inches down. I also got my second oldest dog tag 1915.

Thanks for looking!

I voted Banner for this reason..."This Nova Constellatio is not the first, but this piece has a certain something to it...It is very appealing, in addition to being a rarity. I just keep returning to this post to look at the pictures. For this reason I wish to nominate it for Banner". Happy Hunting! :notworthy:

Nice Nova. It is a Crosby 3-C variety which I believe is a Rarity 3, 200 to 500 known. Nova Constellatios were a privately produced British made token imported in great numbers during the early days of our country. Great find, congrats!

This Nova-C is in amazing condition and on both sides! A true rarity in that sense as well! I think you could probably get it more clean but there is definitely a risk of losing detail. Huge congrats. I'm giving this a banner vote!

It's actually one of the more common Nova varieties. I know 200 to 500 known sounds pretty rare, but not really for colonials!

Congrats on your Nova copper. It's a great day of detecting when you recover an old copper that is so well preserved.
