Yesterday I had one hour to kill before a Dr. appointment. I found this in an old park. It's the American College of Surgeons which was founded in 1912 in Chicago. I tried to figure out what the connection is to Boston... I found a pamphlet on ebay of initiates in 1941 at symphony hall that looks like they used this same print plate... maybe not this exact one but I have to wonder how many of these existed. Well it's old and pretty neat. I tried to print off of it and didn't really work. Of course I used permanent marker and couldn't get it cleaned up. :BangHead: Thanks for reading.

That is cool!! if you have access to a Rizo printer they use soy ink and you could use a little bit to replicate a print...

That's a beautiful find!
I always wonder how a piece like that could end up in a park setting.

I was close by to the medical area in Boston. I imagine some disgruntled surgeon who failed his exams, took it so the couldn't make any more stationary or pamphlets and threw it in the park so it would never be seen again.
