Hello everyone, I’ve been a long time lurker here looking at everyone’s finds and finally decided to post something of my own. I bought an Garrett at gold several years ago and and used it a little bit, digging mostly only the high tones before I took a break off for a few years. This year after watching a bunch of metal detecting videos on YouTube I decided to get back out there again. This summer I hit many parks and beaches hard, digging all high tones and pull tab/nickel signals. I think digging nickel signals payed off because I dug more gold than I did silver which is kind of weird, but since it’s parks that have probably been detected before I suppose it makes sense. The gold rings are all 10k and are in order of when I found them, only one of them was found in the soil and the rest were found in the water. I only found one silver coin this year and a silver ring, but I will include a picture of the finds I got several years back, including my biggest and oldest silver, a worn 1897 barber quarter. Thanks for looking everyone and sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot, as a bonus I’ll include a picture of all the pull tabs I dug this year, I saved every single one of them.
