Hey everyone,

Been hitting it hard over the past 5 days getting out 4 times since sunday.

We had an ugly cold front come through this week and this year isnt looking to promising for winter hunting.

Im close to zeroing in on a 100 silvers for the year so I've been pushing it.

Im working nights this week but have been really busy in the day taking calls for jobs while im out hunting.

Was pretty beat up today but forced myself out and knocked some snow off the coil for the first few hrs today.

My little bro stmbled onto a old home site saturday and pulled an AU 1840 O seated dime and LC.

We pounded out the site the following day but only managed a pewter spoon and a few CW buttons.

Been mainly hitting groves trying to sqeak out some deep silvers. They've been tough to hear down 10 plus inches but have been able to sqeeze out a few or so each hunt.

Sorry haven't really cleaned up much yet. Theres a shield nickle v's a buff bunch of wheats and some misc jewelry.

Hope to get back out over the next 6 weeks and get to 100. It will cap off a solid season. Worked hard to get every find though.

They dont come easy. There's lots of knee aching days. Slips and falls bumps and bruises but I just love being out there.

Thanks for looking.

Jer

Nice group of finds Jeremy. Wouldn't mind seeing close ups of the CW buttons and your brothers coins. Can't believe you were out in the wind chill we had earlier this week. Let me ask this - does your annual "silvers" count include all silver items found or just coins? I always thought you were talking about just coins.

Nice finds Jer! Yeah that snow thing is not right, way too early for the stuff to stick. But maybe the early snow will mean the woods will be cleared of briars and brush sooner. Keep rocking toward your 100 FTY ! Congrats

Nice Rifleman's button! That's pre civil war. I have found a few at an 1850s site in West Texas.
