Hello everyone! I was going to my loose change, When I found a 2005 buffalo nickel. I thought Buffalo nickels were only made long ago, not in 2005. Is this a rare fine, or is it just a nickel?

Can someone help explain why some nickels have Buffalo's? I am a little confused.

The mint made Buffalo nickels in 2005 too. There is also a famous one which has a spear through the buffalo's back.

Interesting. Well, you learn something new everyday! Thanks for the help. I appreciate it. I have heard of the one with the spear going through its back. Sounds cool!

Rare or not, this is going in my collection.
