1850s Farmhouse - Silver, copper and a mystery penny

Spent several hours today at a local 1850s farmhouse in Chester County, PA and did pretty well. Two colonial flat buttons, pewter spoon bowl, 1844 Copper, 2 Mercury Dimes, gold plated mirror case and what I think may be a flintlock frizzen.

The thing that looks like the base of a lightbulb is an old fuse and just below it is a Wheat Penny surrounded by what looks like pewter. Does anyone know what that might be? The penny itself is too corroded to read the date but it is definitely a Wheat. Thanks for looking.

Yours is very much more corroded.

Nice large cent. No idea if that's a frizzen but it if it is that's a great find. Thanks for sharing your finds looks like it was a fun hunt!
