    It's a silver

No need for a long drawn out post here. Picked up a '45 Washington Quarter at an older Church Parish Hall. Didn't quite get it finished, so I'll be going back next week. It's a silver though, and I'll take it, cause Winter is closing in.

Congrats! A great sight, the sparkle of silver!

"And so the population was gradually led into the demoralising temptations of arcades, baths, and sumptuous banquets. The unsuspecting Britons spoke of such novelties as 'civilisation', when in fact they were only a feature of their enslavement." Tacitus, Roman Senator and Historian, written AD 98.

The Bald Eagle photo...he/she posed for me, gave me it's best American look. I felt privileged to get the shot.

It's a Silver all right. I found a 1964 Washington last weekend, and was happy to get it. Silver Quarters are becoming harder to find for me any more. Congrats!
