Went out to Casino Beach (an old amusement park built on the shores of Lake Worth here near Ft Worth) last Saturday for about 3 hours and dug up a couple of nice mercs (sorry no pics, gotta get me a camera), a 1943 and a 1944, each at about 5 1/2 to 6 inches. It has been a while since I have savored the sight of a silver coin (several months). This place has been hit extremely hard by individuals and the local MD clubs, but I thought I would still give it a try. Those two dimes were all I found, but it was definitely worth it!!! HH to all.

Good going Wayne. Glad you got out of that rut. I know that silver can be a pain sometimes. Seems like all the silver that is left around is on private land. That's not the case I just like to think if I could hit all that private land silver would be a everyday accomplishment. There's probably somemore at the site. They never seem to get it all.

Nice hunt Wayne! It gets down to experience at those so called hunted out sites, just takes a little more patience. HH, Mike
