I've dug a handful of cap guns in my searching, I thought today that I had stumbled on my first real gun. It felt like about a pound and a half coming out of the hole, says made in Italy on the side. I couldn't find a caliber on it, just RTS on the side. Apparently it is a starter pistol, I believe from the 60's the cylinder still spins and the hammer still moves about half way back. It was exciting pulling out just the same.

Vey cool . That will clean up and display well. I have found a few magnet fishing under bridges. All came out trashed. Yours is in fine shape.

That's really neat! I like finding guns of any description.
