And I was so excited for winter to end. Got out to a local beach this morning. I only stayed until other people started showing up, but I found my 3rd silver ring and 10th wheat penny with the Simplex. Here’s a picture of my finds over the last month. Not included is a bucket of metal trash, half a mason jar full of clad I probably ruined by soaking them all in salt and vinegar at the same time (they all have a copper tint now), an Edwardian brooch, some various railroad relics, and a spoon that claims to be silver but was probably just silver plated at one time. The silver ring I found today is the one with the heart. Stay safe, everyone.
