I took my grandson Tyler metal detecting today. He is hooked for sure. Now all he wants is to take him detecting. Problem is I only have my Whites XLT so that means i get to stand around. If anyone has a used cheap extra detector please email me. I can't afford much because I about went broke buying my XLT. LOL Here is a pic of Tyler and his finds for the day. ( About three hours at the park) All clad.
one half
one quarter
five dimes
two nickels
eighteen pennies
a small silver earring (I think)
and an old key
not showing the ton of trash we dug also.

This might be too cheap for what you want, but...

A couple of months ago, Best Buy had a Bounty Hunter for $50 (regular price is around $80, I think). I'd offer you the one I bought for the grandkids, but they're havin' too much fun with it. There just might be one or two still hanging around at Best Buy.

good luck, and congrats on gettin' your monster hooked on MDing
