Help identifying Quartz/gold stone

Picked this up over the weekend at an antique shop in Colorado. Appears to be real gold but part of it was glued on, left size is polished or cleaned a little more. Rock size is roughly 2.5”x 2.5”.

Looks like gold and the matrix is right and you can see some of the matrix in the gold. I think you did well.
