Off Work Off Hunting. Big Haul Last week Including a bunch of Silver Etc.

Hello guys,

Was off work last week so you bet right I was out hunting. I did 6 hunts out of 7 days.

Had to take Thanksgiving off was getting yelled at by the wife for hunting too much.

Most of the hunts were avg 4 hours. So by know means is this a one day haul. Prob about 25 hours last week hunting.

Had a few highlights but nothing to crazy. Most of the finds came from some older parks/groves.

However I did hit a few home sites that coughed up a few keepers including another sterling pencil all beat up.

Popped my second in the past few months radio orphan Annie badge.

Bunch of Indian heads but not a lot of older silver. I'll take what I can find though.

I'm shooting for 150 silvers ytd. I'm at 132. Not sure I can find 18 silvers this month but I'm gonna try.

That's a lot of targets there Jeremy. I like the two little toy pistols, they look like flintlock or percussion type rather than your average six shooter.

I was feeling it in my knees and elbows etc. Getting old sucks. Just starting to feel the wear here now at 40.

Can't go as hard as I used to. My brain wants to. But my body is like hey is there an easier way to get up this mountain lol.

Trying to get it in before I am to old to hunt this way.

Haha, tell me about it. I turned 63 on Sunday. I can only go for about four hours a day anymore.

That's a lot of finds, even for 24 hours or so. I would be lucky to get that amount of time for the whole month. Love the silver. Congrats on a great haul!

Steve, I bet you are 23 years older than I am so I can only imagine how you feel.

Lol appreciate the support on the road to 150.

Actually I have already met my goal for the year when I hit a 100.

I set that goal every year for myself. Keeps me motivated to get out there and hunt hard.

Once I hit a hundred a few months back. I said hey lets shoot for 150. It keeps me motivated to get out of bed early on the weekends and push myself.

Either way I had a really good year and I am very fortunate to have had the luck/success that I have had over the years.

I hunt hard and dig a lot on my outings. Just love tracking down history.
