I WENT TO A MINI STORAGE AUCTION TODAY AND BOUGHT THIS JAR FULL OF COINS...
I PAID $52.00 FOR IT...

ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT COUNTED ALL THE COINS I BELIEVE IT WILL BE CLOSE TO $100.00
WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ?

THERE ARE LOTS OF NEW SILVER DOLLAR COINS (THE BIG ONES FROM THE 70'S)
THERE ARE LOTS OF SUSAN B. 'S
THERE ARE LOTS OF SAQAJEE'S...
PLUS LOTS OF PENNIES, DIMES, AND NICKELS...
I ALSO SAW SOME QUARTERS... AND A $2 DOLLAR BILL...

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION...
RICHARD

If you get more than $52.00 out of that then I think you did a pretty good job. :)

Is this a contest like how many jelly beans in the jar? I never saw something like that at an auction before.....would be interesting to see who bids and peoples reactions.
Last auction I went to had about a dozen U.S. gold coins, silver dollars, etc.(the sellers had owned a pawn shop since the 40's). I wanted a gold coin, and waited for four hours for them to come up. Jeez, the double eagles went for $500 or so,and the eagles for like $270. But that was 3-4 years ago,and I went home empty handed. Maybe I should have bought some? Gold is very high now...... :o

I'll PM you my address, so you can mail it back.
Just kidding. Sound like a great buy.

Very interesting. I would never have guessed that there was over $150.00 in coins in that jar. I've always wanted to go to one of those storage sales.
