I've been hunting for over 30 years off and on, and Ol' Ben has eluded Me all this time. Got a day to hunt, so I took advantage of it. I found a couple wheats and a bunch of clad before I got this banging 34 solid as can be on the Nox. Really I wasn't even expecting this. I thought about videoing it, and changed My mind, thinking, surely not. What a Great Surprise it was!!! My First Ben Franklin Half. To top it off I found 3 Silver Australian Sixpences in another two yards. Kinda odd for My location, but I'll take them. Silver #5 fty!!! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!!!

Digger, your post got me thinking! Ive found Barber halves & a walking liberty half......no silver Franklins yet! I did find a 1970s Franklin though! I guess those silver Bens dont come out of the dirt too often!!! Congrats Again!

I've found 3-Walking Liberties,1-Seated Half,1-Silver Kennedy, & 1-Barber Half in all those years of hunting. I always figured the Benjamin's would be one of the first I'd come across. Nope, I've been chasing one of these for a Loooong time
