Hey guys I got some things to show you and ask questions about but I want to let the newcomers know that just because I find things to put up there are days in the week that I don’t put anything up because there’s nothing to show. “It's a marathon, not a sprint.”. So here we go I had to bring a hammer out of my truck so I can break through the red brick and my first find was an odd looking ball of rust so I put it on my shovel and bang the heck out of it with my hammer and I believe I got a beautiful grape shot image-2021-01-17-18:41:01-688.jpg
I wish I had my camera on me so I could’ve took a picture of what it looked like at first. Then there’s the musketball which I’m proud to half image-2021-01-17-18:41:31-738.jpg
Weird little piece feels very light but it lights up the pin pointer no idea what it is image-2021-01-17-18:41:47-552.jpg
Then I got a ornate modern key which I thought was awesome image-2021-01-17-18:42:35-798.jpg
And come on who doesn’t like marbles and beautiful pottery image-2021-01-17-18:41:59-792.jpg

image-2021-01-17-18:42:12-078.jpg
And last but not least which I have no idea I just want to ask somebody could this be cannonball fragments? image-2021-01-17-18:52:36-451.jpg

I appreciate your looking I’m going back at 8 AM so I could work until 6 PM I’m going to see what’s in this shell mitten. Thanks for looking

Nice going! Most motor fragment that I've found from the Rev. War have a slight curve to them as well as different thickness in the fragments. Many were among the grape shot and musket balls. Keep Going!!

I appreciate that cannonball now I got to go get them off the garbage LOL I found a 8 pound French cannon ball from the early 18th century. Only the French had a pound cannonballs and they were the ones who built the fort from 1704 to 1710 and then the Spanish took it over. View recent photos 4.png

Love the grape shot, but I'm not sure whats up with your test because that isn't silver IMO.

I don’t know crusader I’ve done two tests already and they’re saying it’s silver and when I put it on something that’s not silver it disappears like it should. What made you think it’s not silver?
