I couldn't resist! I was in the front yard working on my Christmas lights (replacing some bulbs) when I noticed a "treasure" lying in the yard. Well, when I picked it up I thought; hey, if there's one surely there's some more. Sure enough, there was another! Both are Series 2003A of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Yep, I found two....count 'em...two dollar bills :o

I admit this is really no big deal; just felt a bit "impish" this evening ;D

Cool Windfall!!!

It reminds me of my Marine Corps days in the late 80s. I was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Tustin, California in Orange County. (now closed down) All over the base was concertina wire that was put in as a security measure prior to the 1984 Olympics in LA that nobody got around to taking back down. Part of out job weekly was to walk along a section of it near our shop to pick up trash that was caught in it or blown against it. One day I was out with my co-workers doing this duty, and I found a $50 bill that was in the wire. Quite a windfall for a young Corporal!!!

Congrats on the lucky find!!!
