Big old saw and sickle ! How old ? Deep in the woods of VT

Hello my fellow treasure hunters,
My girl found this old home site Deep in the woods of Vermont
Using an old map and app on her phone
We traveled 2 miles ,very big property,
I got permission to hunt 4 years ago but never could find the damn home site lol.
She found this awesome looking saw and sickle with the simplex..
How old is the saw and sickle ? Wood like to find pics of the handle for the saw ..
I want to hang it on My shed lol thanks for looking

.... neat stuff. That saw blade reminds me of an ice saw used to cut blocks of ice and than haul and stack in an ice house. My grand parents had one and they would talk about ?the good ol? days? hopping they would have enough left to make ice cream on the 4th of July. That blade could become a heirloom and a way reminder of your good ol? days, together..
..I don?t think curved piece with a pointy end made of cast is a sickle. Again it reminds me of the piece that triggers the tie needle on a binder or a square baler.
..There is a rein guide in the pile also.
..It sounds like a really good place to find lots of great stuff!

I would call that a scythe instead of a sickle...cool finds!

Working with wood? Sure! Not a hay saw,
try search phrase "single buck saw handle",
and see if any images fit your relic...

The long blade is a complete scythe blade, the type with a long, bent handle with hand holds bolted to it. They were used for many years and some still are today. The saw has teeth pointing in only one direction. That means it cuts in just one direction. It is not a wood buck saw, which cuts on both strokes. It could be a pit saw, which was used to make lumber. One man stood above and pulled the saw up. The one on the bottom pulled the saw down for the cutting stroke. Ice saws also cut only on one stroke, the up stroke, so it could be that also. But ices saws I have seen are more slender probably so they start down pilot holes in the ice on a lake.

my first thought were those teeth make me think ice saw or something... not old crosscut. but i may be wrong
