He has been calling me for the past 4 days telling me to check my email.I finally looked at his email and now know why he was calling me everyday.I'm gonna see him in 2 weeks,I can't wait.

I have seen a lot of US buckles...but I dont't recall seeing one like that. Has to be an Officers Sword Belt Buckle. Great find.

I believe you will find that it is a Post Civil War Buckle. That style is most likely around 1874 or so. It is one great find! Especially in Georgia!!!
