Well I found the same type bottle on ebay, but they delete the old auctions so fast on there so I will just

thanks, there are several versions of this bottle as Dr. Wistar was in business for many years. My version is embossed "Sanford & Park, Cincinnati O" and has an open pontil. The "Sanford & Park" version was produced from 1845 - 1850, after that the Cincinnati versions were embossed "John D. Park". It was a typical popular "quack" medicine of the period probably advertised to cure most anything, the alcohol content probably made the user feel a little better at least. ::) ALWAYS searching for permissions to dig privies... -Rob
