Hey all,
I found these buttons in the yard of an old farmhouse my girlfreind got me permission to search last fall. I posted in the "what is it column but got no replies, so I thought I would share them here. They were all within 6 inches from each other. We pulled some nice old coins too. 1898 barber quarter & 1847 large cent. They look like union eagles to me, but Im not very versed in buttons, so any input is appreciated. The small ones with the stars have the letters "FCG&S" around the star. Anyone seen any like this before?
I've just been getting my detector out & getting spring fever...so should have many more pics to post soon I hope!
