I stopped at a bank on the way home this evening. I asked the teller if they had any half dollars and she looked at me like I was stupid, so I asked for the vault teller. She came up to me and I asked her if she had any halves, so she went and brought me $280 worth. As I scanned the edges when I got home ,I got discouraged as each roll seemed to be all clad. I got down to about six rolls left and wham!, 3 silvers. Two 90%ers and a 40%er. I also found two very nice 2007 coins. They only minted 4.1mill of these so i'm gonna hold on to them.

You did better than me today. I got $223 of halves, only one 40% ('67). Haven't picked up a 90% yet.

Best I have ever done with bank hopping is a 40% er 1969 half. Of course whenever I go to my lousy bank, they always say that don't have any halves. What kind of bank doesn't carry all types of U.S currency? A lousy one thats it!!!!
Congrats. Keep on searchin and you'll find it.

I hit six banks today. One had $11 in halves. 4 had nothing. The last one, which I've used before, had $260 worth, they actually had more but I didn't. :D And that teller said they have more coming in on Tuesday. I like a bank that automatically orders more without me asking.

Dropped by a bank near work at lunch. I got $200 worth. 19 rolls had nothing but clad. 1 roll gave up big silver, 19/20 coins in that roll were 40%ers.
