ground was hard as rock but we were able to dig shallow targets at a tot lot, we did pretty decent, for newbies ;D
got 22 coins for a total of $1.16
I had it set on jewelry mode and dug every signal, we want a ring!!!!! everything in the top 2 rows gave me a pulltab or nickel signal, as you see some were nickels some were junk. All in all it was a fun day out with my son!!!
I was pleased at the small amount of trash I found at the school VS the park, wow what a difference.

yeah the main reason I got the ace 250 was to get some extra bonding time with my son. If it were up to him he would just sit in front of his computer all day long. But he thinks treasure hunting is cool, so I am keeping my fingers crossed he won't get bored.

Yesterday we were out for 1.5 hours and only found trash and one penny, but he made my day when he said "dad it doesn't matter what we found, it was just nice being with you" now THAT made my day!!!!!

Yes Kirk the button looks flat. why?

Awesome, him saying what he said is the icing on the cake. You want him to stay hooked you need to take him to a nice unsearched 1800's site.

Keep @ it and HH!!

we have been given permission to search some old home sites, but the ground is simply too hard, and the last thing I want to do is tear up someone's yard now. We just have to be patient and wait for the ground to thaw!

The one I can't wait to search is a lot right down the road from me, his house was completely destroyed by a tornado, and I have been told he lost a lot of gold jewelry, and lots of coins he collected. I am hoping to find some of them soon!!!
