Old Broach with 8 stones

Found this yesterday along with alot of other relics on property dating back to the 1700's. Unfortunately no old coins, but I have a good feeling about my next trip there.

The pin is missing from the back and it appears 1 stone is missing from the middle. Have no idea what the stones are made of, but there are a few that are very sparkly. The family who built this house were wealthy so who knows.

I think you're right stanjam, but watch out for the lurker behind the door. you have to hit him with your scoop before you zap him with the upgraded md.

Nice piece of bling. I have 3 brooches I've found & they cleaned up enough to wear them.
