Wow. That's a lot of crap, but are those two balls in the last pic made out of lead?

Darn this hobby and darn manicured lawns! I'v been trying to reestablish my lawn since it was killed by a mildew blight a couple of years ago. Now I have a detector and go out digging it up with mini sinkholes all over it! I think metal detecting is a diaboloical scheme by the Ortho company! Why did I post this here? I have no idea! Good finds. JIM

The 2 balls in the pic are not lead, I have found quite a few scatered all over the yard, front and back.

Most of the finds are about 3-5 inches, some deeper some just in the sod. Good thing about detecting and diigging everything, I now know where all my water lines and property stakes are at lol.

All MDers should keep all the trash you dig. It cleans up mother earth and you can even sell trash metal to get recycled.

HH!!

I have been finding out by keeping all the junk, you kinda put it all together like a puzzle. You can tell where things used to be in the yard. From all my finds I know where the kids play area was, where the clothes line was, where the burn pile was. Its interesting!
