Warm Weather brings Gold , Silver, and a Cadillac

We had 2 good days of weather for detecting this weekend and we meant to make the most of it. Saturday found us going south detecting some places that we had notbeen to for a while, finds were sparce but then finished off with a bang. At the last spot we found the 10k chain with the 10k butterfly pendant in one play are then found the gold ring on the left as we stepped into the 3rd play area at the school. At first I didnt think it was real but when we got home we could see the 750 stamp. Bingo 18k. Went east today. At the next to last spot the 10k/pink ice ring was found. The silver earring on right came from second spot yesterday, the one on left came from a school today. We found over $26.00 in clad for the weekend, as well as plenty of junk jewelry. 3 wheats and 2 foreign coins
Now for the Cadillac part of the finds; the last 2 pics are of the Cadillac SRX that we purchased using lasts years clads for the down payment guess we better keep on digging those zincs

Nana, Bobbie says the same thing that we arent using it to go detecting. Its ok with me as many miles as we drive to detect. We still will be using the faithful silver impala for 90% of our detecting . Told her we need to get personal tag for it that says "Bobbies Baubble"

Nice finds guys! Love the Caddy too. You must have found tons of clad to give you a down payment on that baby! Hope it gets decent gas mileage, gas is hovering around $3.55 here in Michigan.

Hey prober thanks, it gets bout 22 miles to the gallon thus far so I will take that, we were getting ready to sign papers on 2006 silverado 4 door when bobbie saw this and said she really would rather have this so it was a done deal. It really wont be used for daily driving except by bobbie who goes to town 3-4 times a week. Wont be used to much for detecting either except when we are traveling up to her folks in hillsdale or my family in central Florida.
Gas here was $3.46 so the impala with 31mpg will still be the work horse for detecting, hope you guys can get out real soon

Dave, what detectors do you bobbie use?
I`m thinking of a Whites XLT for my next purchase.

That Zinc setting has been good to you Mine only brings me lot-o-cans.

I`m sure those gold and silver items will help a little with payments
