Went to city park where i live and 5.5" with my White DFX I found a 1911 V Nickel between two trees. How much could that be worth :wav: ???? Also found a 1946 Nickel and couple pennies, a newer dime, a Quarter, an allen wrench and a old key to maybe a jewlry box. sorry don't have digital camera yet to take pictures of the V Nickel. But all in all a good haul. Also how should, i clean it if i should it is pretty dirty?

Well, I fear that being a "dug" coin, the value is almost nothing from a collectors standpoint... at least if its anything like the V's I've dug (corroded red and pitted). I love V's though, and I'd much rather dig one than say a Roosie or a common Merc.

Congrats Dude, sounds like a fun day! I have read in the forums here of guys cleaning nickles with lime-away gel and having pretty good luck, might give it a look and see what ya think! And any coin found is better than no coin found I always say.

Keep swingin.
