I went camping at the beach last weekend, and of course I took my detector.
It was beautiful!
I found a bunch of clad and one silver earring, but not much else.
A friend and I had climbed to the top of those grassy dunes that you can see in the photo, and we were standing there admiring the view.
"I sure wish I had a chair", I said, "I could stay up here for awhile just soaking up this view".
As I said that, I leaned on my detector a bit, and it slid slightly.
As it slid, it gave off a junky signal--so I pinpointed it. "Might as well dig it", I said to my friend.
He slipped the trowel into the sandy soil, and out popped a jewelry box!
When we opened it up, we both about had a heart attack !!
Unfortunately, the two necklaces inside were both just costume jewelry. But what a rush!

Just kidding. It is a beautiful view. Way to go on the jewelry. It is very cool
