if every body else jumped off a Bridge, would you ?
Dumbest question ever , If your trying to make a Point !
the only right answer is
"Yes ! Absolutely !"
"I'll follow right behind the last one !"
because if you say no ! you will be the only one here for the rest of your life.
Pretty Boring if you ask me. Not only that.
If if "every body else" jumped off a Bridge,
you must have been the only one not to get the Memo
that it was the smart thing to do.
not everybody but you can be wrong

I have... many times.
"bridge jumping" was a common boredom pastime for me as a kid.
As well as bridge climbing.
Oh hotel roof top jumping was also a childhood "pastime". :P

I remember Dick Smothers asking Tommy if he'd jump off a bridge if everyone else did
tommy said " not again"

The one I had to force myself to stop saying once I had a kid (and realized how stupid it was), was "you cant have desert until you eat everything on your plate". excuse me? Why are we forcing our kids to eat twice as much food and THEN eat the dessert they are going to eat anyway?

Highest I ever dove was 55 foot, back in my young, invincible and stupid years (16-23) .... I quit when I almost landed on my back on a bad dive.

You could be one of the only ones that is right and not jump off of the bridge. I never was a follower.

I agree ! But the Phrase is If Everyone Else Jumped........
Personally not Being a follower myself, I would probably need to be Confident Everyone Else did jump,
before I would consider it.
But I think if someone asked me if I'd jump if everyone else did, I'd have to say:
Yep
But I'd be last in line.
unless second to last was too Scary to Fathom being alone with

TH...
Nothing worse than a "botched" or "incomplete flip" / jump.
I have hit hard myself a few times.
Definitely makes you think before taking the next one.
Rope swing anyone ? heh
I have "racked myself" a few times on one of those jumps as well.
Chassahowitzka River had a great one for years...
Just be sure you make it...
Or its to the Cypress stump spear points you go.

There is a railroad bridge in Ohio people have jumped off into the water below for years. One year a girl was impaled by rebar in concrete at the bottom. Then you start thinking, damn, all of us that have jumped off and never hit that exact spot!
We didn't have the rope swings. We would cut the bottom of the vine, but every once in a while the vine would let loose from above and you would hit the ground before you got to the water. Or the time you don't jump and swing back into a tree!
Jeff I jumped off a couple bridges and Cliffs too when I was younger, now I just look over the edge and say forget that! Don't need an enima! Or something else in my throat!

 Just another Guy In Back
So lets say that this poor girl was second to last to jump... just ahead of you.
Wouldn't you save her and try to repopulate the earth?

Think on that one for a few minutes...
Get up late... Start slow... Taper off early...
I am a second level vegetarian. Cow's eat grass. I eat cows.
Half of everything I do today will be wrong. I just don't know which half yet.
