I bought this from an estate sale, I paid $20.00 for it. The hotel to the best of my knowledge was burnt down by an arsonist in the late 19Th century. I am not a real big collector of these but thought the price was about right. It appears the piece survived the fire due to all the black soot on it. It is from Ogden,Ut

Looks similar to one that I found. Probably made by J.Robbins, look closely at the top above the slot. You might see a faint impression of the makers name. Price sounds good. It's always nice when you can research the hotel and display it with pics. Even better if it survived the fire. :thumbsup: Here's yours and mine below...Rich.
