I usually wear my Excalibur 2 control unit on a belt around my waist,but I am thinking of buying a Anderson detector shaft. I have had problems with search coils,in the past,due to flexing of the coil wire.I think that mounting the control unit on the shaft might eliminate this problem,even though it will make the detector heavier to swing for long periods.Of the Anderson shafts available,which makes swinging the detector easier?I would appreciate your opinions.Thanks,Ron
