REI,has a Gerber Gorge folding shovel for $ 21,it has a carbon steel blade,heavy-duty handle,& includes a nylon storage bag.It weighs 28oz.,& is 15.75 inches long.It has a straight shaft,and looks like the "little brother" to the Gerber above.
You might also think about the type of soil your gonna be digging into,I personally don't like a small folding shovel,I need at least one that's 24-40 inches long with a D-type handle.Here in Texas we have a thin layer of dirt and then rock and dirt,and those small size folding shovels don't work for me.
