My last shovel was a WW2 era entrenching tool. I've been using them since day one, but my last one broke on a root.
I bought the glock, this shovel is great. It fits in the shovel pouch on my web belt, which is what I really wanted. I don't like dragging shovels around while I'm detecting. It's also got a saw in the handle for roots.
As for my setup, I have a simple web belt, a vietnam era cartridge box I picked up on ebay for 10 bucks, and a vietnam era shovel pouch.
If you like it, don't bother buying the cartridge box; if you buy the glock shovel. The shovel comes with a pouch that fits on the web belt, that can hold your relics. I gave that one to my wife so she can use it.
Here is a video on the shovel, I didn't make this one.
