With my 40 + years in the mechanical construction industry, steel toed shoes became daily wear for me. When I'm out swinging, I'm wearing them shoes.
So, I'm very used to it, adept with it, and I've found they're useful. Kinda stuck in the past, search by sound, and if my detector is a bit askew, I bring that coil back over my shoes to startle the noise back = reset.
