its common knowledge that the good old u.s. government accepted many german war criminals, engineers, scientists and such into this country at the end of the war..our tax money supporting it....i do not doubt for a second that if a small amount was pushed their way that they would have overlooked the rest,, probably even carried it off the planes/boats,, and quite possibly even helped to locate a burial spot and dig the holes...........gldhntr

DAKOTA TERRITORY
Detector(s) used
Tesoro Lobo Supertraq, (95%) Garrett Scorpion (5%)
Hello SWR - not much! A single line on a page listing many lost treasures (not sure how much is "fantasy") is not exactly the sort of lead that fill a person with confidence enough to go gas up the pickup and slap new batteries in the detector! It is just another version, with no explanation and no details, no sources listed to chech either. So how much faith is justified?

On the other hand near the end of the war there was a lot of loot vanishing and some reappearing in the strangest places, like Argentina and Brazil, which (coincidence? ;)) also happens to be where a good number of war criminals fled....

The lue map question. The man who was suppose to have hidden the nazi treasure. was it on his land. If so dose anyone out ther know any thing about him. like his education or ocupation.more info on this man could be a great help in solveing the mystery of the map.if the map is for the nazi fortune.

Tons of Nazi gold hidden in Arizona? Lue map? If any Nazi gold made it to the Americas, it ended up a lot further south than Arizona... say, Argentina or Uraguay. Also, Nazis in the know, and our own OSS people would not easily let much of it slip through their fingers. If anyone is looking for Nazi gold in the western hemisphere, they should search bank vaults and safety deposit boxes. That being said, I think it realistic that caches probably exist in Europe - maybe by the dozens.

WHAT MIGHT MAKE THE TRIP DANGEROUS?
It will be the fact, that our camp, HAS TO BE! :-\
Set up within a stone's throw of a major, N/S running, canyon !
This canyon is a main route of,
Drug Smugglers, illegals, & (Actual) terrorists (caught!)
I have been in camp when a Fire Fight broke out, about 2 miles down the canyon.
While that might be unusual, the REALLY! :o Unusual Fact is,
THAT!
There were Full Auto weapons being used! :P
There is an almost steady stream of these people going up (North) the canyon !
Needless to say!
&
I am sure that you have , a good digital camera!

Just drop by the Denver Mint and you can see one sitting on an iron table !
AND!
Yes!
You are allowed to visit the room to see it! :o
In Fact,
The last time I was there,
There was a sign saying:
;D "If you can carry this out the front door, it's your's !" ::)
Or!
Something to that effect!

"BUGS" is a Pure Blood, "Blood Hound" ! ;D

Couldn't you tell by the Big Smile and intelligent look ? ::)

There are three varieties of Bloodhound :
1...The more known & commoner, The Black and Tan
2...The Liver (reddish) and Tan
3...Then, there's Bugs, "The Reds!" aka "Red Bone" !

He's about 120 lbs right now, He has about 32 more to go, to catch up with his "Dad" !
For some reason, "Bugs's" family is larger than average !
I have a neighbor who raises The Red variety, and his are smaller than Bugs & Family!
ALL! His Probably go, around 80-90 lbs!

Greetings All:

Without stirring up a hornet's nest... I don't get all the folks who believe the Nazis buried a hundred tons of gold in the southwestern U.S. Argentina, Uraguay, etc., that makes sense. And, besides, from what I understand most of the gold that ODESSA and others smuggled out of Germany ended up in bank reserves, not buried. Stop and think about it: you're a Nazi who's watched his buddied hang at Nuremburg, do you bury your gold or leverage it for protection?

I do not claim to be a professional treasure hunter. But, it doesn't mean I lack common sense. The idea that Nazi gold is buried in the southwestern United States is illogical and flimsy. I did read a book once, called "Nazi Gold." It was about the immediate period around and after the surrender in 1945. Now, that book related believable and contemporary accounts of the gold rush after the war. One incident recounted is a bowling ball going through the backing of an alley. Behind the pins was a false wall. Inside the false wall - you guessed it - gold bars. The location was Bavaria, Garmische Partenkirchen if I remember right. THe bowling alley was set up by the American Army and USO.

So... maybe I am wrong - and, it would be nice for someone if I am - but, a lot of folks are spitting in the wind if they believe this stuff.
